FAQs

Look here!

Which grading company is the best to submit to?

It entirely depends on your preference but if you're unsure, do come down to the store and we'll be glad to explain the differences!

If I send more cards, will it be cheaper?

Unfortunately we are unable to do any discounts as the price also includes shipping, taxes and insurance.

How do I submit cards?

Just bring your cards to either of our stores and the retail team will help you out!

When are batches sent out?

Submissions close on the last Sunday of every month and the cards will be shipped out in 7-10 days thereafter.

What is an "upcharge" and why do they happen?

An upcharge from PSA is an extra fee charged when PSA determines your card’s value is higher than the service tier you submitted it under. You will then have to pay the difference between the tiers. PSA does not reveal their reference point to determine the fair value of the post-graded card.

How long does the grading process take?

The current grading turnaround time is 6-8 months. The amount of time it takes is largely dependent on the level of demand for the associated grading companies.

Do you offer pre-grading?

While we do not "pre-grade" your cards, our staff are more than happy to give you their opinion based on their experiences!

Do you provide slab breaking services?

No, we do not provide slab breaking services.

What about insurance in the case of a missing delivery?

Cards are covered by insurance up to the maximum declared value allowed under the selected grading tier.

What courier services do you use?

We trust DHL Express for all our card-grading shipments. Given the international scope of grading companies like PSA, Beckett, and CGC, we wanted a courier that could handle global logistics with the utmost care.

I heard that there's an option to reject the upcharge fee and opt for the raw card to be returned to me?

Due to PSA’s current backlog and processing policies, all applicable upgraded tier charges must be fully paid before cards can be collected. Unpaid submissions for 6 months will be considered forfeited and handled at the discretion of 1Collectibles.

Why is X or Y grading company faster than 1Collectibles?

they got superman help them fly the cards
