Like the debut release last year, 2021-22 Topps UEFA Champions League Japan Edition mixes paper and chromium. This should include most of the base set from 2021-22 Topps Chrome UEFA Champions League in standard paper form. The card numbers are different from Chrome but most of the names are the same.
The series offers top UCL stars as well as Japanese players Takumi Minamino (Liverpool) and Takuhiro Nakai (Real Madrid). It seems that Ibrahima Konaté was removed to make room for Minamino.
For the base paper set, the main difference is the Japanese text on the back.
However, the big draw here is the exclusive lineup of Chrome "Mojo" Refractor parallels. Look for nine different options of varying rarity. Each box should contain a few.
