The animated/live-action basketball battle returns to cardboard with 2021 Upper Deck Space Jam A New Legacy.
This time, instead of Michael Jordan, who starred in the original film, the Looney Tunes have called upon LeBron James for assistance. Just like for 1996 Upper Deck Space Jam, UD is back to supply the cards for the sequel.
Promising "eye-catching designs and a variety of big hits," 2021 Upper Deck Space Jam A New Legacy highlights the summer blockbuster. The base set offers 50 cards for the Retail edition and a larger set for Hobby.
The Retail format features exclusive Blue parallels, which come in each Blaster pack. Retail is also the place to find the Ready to Jam foil insert. These have 10 different parallels to collect. Premium 2021 Upper Deck Space Jam A New Legacy inserts include Breaking the Game 3D lenticular cards with short-printed versions and Manufactured Film Cels with multiple rarity tiers.
In addition, there are also limited Autographs featuring cast members. These come in Pink and Teal versions.
The film boasts many NBA, WNBA and Hollywood stars, and the set features signatures from a few names, including LeBron James and Gabriel Iglesias.
